Impact of Emotional Intelligence on Sustainable Leadership

Purpose: The study aims to evaluate the impact of emotional intelligence (EI) on sustainable leadership managers in context Bangladesh. Emotional is made up five components, viz. self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. Methods: This a quantitative based survey data. Data were collected from (n=262) working different organizations located Dhaka Chittagong region by using convenience sampling technique. EI was measured with 30 items adopted EQ Index (Rahim et al., 2002, 2006), while 15 SLQ (McCann & Holt, 2010). PLS-SEM applied analyze data measurement structural models. Results: findings suggest that managers’ significantly influences leadership. Originality: pioneering Bangladesh it contributes our understanding leadership, which turn, enhances managers' performance. Limitations: use technique may limit generalizability findings.
